Airtel Rs 1,699 recharge revised to offer 146GB more data in the validity period

“The Rs 1,699 Airtel recharge offers 1.4GB data per day, 365-day validity, bundled calls, free SMSes, and access to premium content services”

To compete against the affordable tariffs from Jio and other operators, India’s second-largest telco Airtel has been introducing new plans from time to time. Apart from launching new Airtel recharges, the company has also been revising its old packs to provide additional benefits to its subscribers. Recently, the brand increased the benefits of some of its postpaid recharge plans. Now, the telecom giant has revised its long-term validity Airtel recharge of Rs 1,699, which is now offering higher data benefits. Apart from the data, the other benefits of the revised Rs 1,699 Airtel recharge, including the validity, haven’t been changed, meaning it will remain valid for a year.

Airtel Recharge Rs 1699

The Rs 1,699 Airtel recharge is now offering 1.4GB of data per day for 365 days. Earlier, the tariff was providing 1GB of data every day for the same validity. Now, the plan offers a total of 511GB of data, much higher from 365GB earlier. Apart from this, this tariff provides unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls to all networks across the country, apart from 100 SMSes per day.

You also get free access to Airtel TV Premium ZEE5, and HOOQ, which offer 350+ live TV channels, 10,000+ movies, and more. In addition, you can avail free Norton Mobile Security for one year and unlimited access to Wynk Music.

The Rs 1,699 Airtel recharge will compete against the Jio recharge that costs the same. However, Jio’s prepaid pack offers 1.5GB of data per day for a year, resulting in a total of 547.5GB. In addition, the Rs 1,699 Jio recharge provides truly unlimited calls to all telecom networks across India, 100 SMSes per day, and complimentary subscription to the operator’s premium app suite. Some of the premium apps from the telecom operator include JioSaavn for music, JioTV for live channels, JioCinema for movies, TV shows and more, and JioCloud.
