Leading telecom company Bharti Airtel has re-introduced the Rs 199 prepaid plan for its subscribers after briefly removing it from its plans catalogue. Just to mention, the Rs 199 Airtel prepaid plan’s current data and validity benefits are different from what was previously offered. The Airtel Rs 199 prepaid plan previously included 1GB of daily data and 24 days of validity. Later, the telco altered the proposal to include 1.5GB of daily data. And now, Airtel has revised the plan offers to extend the validity to 30 days, among other things.

With the new Rs 199 prepaid plan, Airtel is giving its customers 30 days of validity, 3GB of total data, unlimited voice calls, and 300 SMS. Customers can get free Hello Tunes and Wynk Music in addition to other perks with Airtel Thanks. Charges for local SMS and STD SMS will be Re 1 and Rs 1.5, respectively, after the utilisation of SMS benefits.
After the limit, data usage will be billed at 50p/MB. While customers get access to 300 SMS as part of the subscription, they are only permitted to use 100 of them every day at most. When the plan expires, unused SMS and data will also expire and cannot be carried over when recharging with the same plan.
