The telco’s new plan comes to take on the Reliance Jio’s Rs 498 prepaid plan that offers a validity of 91 days.
Airtel’s new Rs 499 plan delivers you 2GB of high-speed 4G or 3G data per day for 82 days. The pack also provides you with unlimited local and STD calls to all networks and 100 SMSes per day for the same period. Overall, the new Airtel prepaid plan offers a total of 164GB of 3G or 4G data for 82 days, apart from the free calling and data benefits.
To compare, Reliance Jio’s Rs 498 prepaid plan offers 2GB of 4G data per day for 91 days, resulting in a total of 182GB of data. The pack also provides unlimited local and STD calls, free roaming, 100 SMSes per day, and a complimentary subscription to Jio’s premium app suite.
