Alcatel launches One Touch Evo 8 HD tablet with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean

After launching two new smartphones in the One Touch portfolio, Alcatel has now also launched an Android tablet dubbed as Alcatel One Touch Evo 8 HD with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version. Alcatel is willing to impress the buyers in the crowded tablet market by offering an additional accessory with the tablet that will allow the users to extend their screen in real time using wireless connection.

Alcatel One Touch Evo 8 HD Features wise, Alcatel One Touch Evo 8 HD comes with an 8 inch IPS touch screen display with the resolution of 1024 * 768 pixels. It is powered by a 1.6GHz dual core RockChip ARM Cortex A9 processor along with 1GB of RAM memory. It comes with 4GB of internal storage which can be further expendable up to 64GB via microSD card slot. It is having 3MP rear and 2MP front facing cameras and powered by a 4160mAh decent battery.

Alcatel One Touch Evo 8 HD with Cover The One Touch Home V100 accessory with this tablet will allow the users to stream the contents of the tablet screen to their HDTVs. This accessory is kind of similar to the recently launched Google Chromecast Wireless USB dongle but the major difference in Alcatel USB device is that it can mirror just everything including all the local contents as well as games feed too. There is no information on the pricing of this tablet at the moment along with its release date in the global markets. By looking at the features of the device, we expect it to join the long range of budget friendly Android tablets available in the market at the moment.
