
Vivo‘s upcoming vertically foldable smartphone seems to have been spotted on benchmarking website Geekbench. The smartphone in question, believed to be the Vivo X Flip, carries the model number V2256A and presence on the benchmarking site suggests an imminent launch.
The device has been spotted running on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm. It is expected to get 12GB RAM, a 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera, a 6.8-inch 120Hz main display and a secondary smaller display on the top lid.
Vivo X Flip Geekbench ahead of launch

The rumoured Vivo X Flip smartphone, running the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM, has managed to score 1,695 points on the single-core test and 4,338 points on the multi-core test. The device can be seen sporting Android 13 mobile OS.

The Vivo X Flip is a highly anticipated vertically folding smartphone from Chinese phone maker Vivo. The device is expected to boast of a foldable 6.8-inch 120Hz main display with an FHD+ resolution. A secondary display on the top lid with an HD resolution is also expected. The optics department is rumoured to be benefitted from the presence of a 50MP Sony IMX866 main and a 12MP IMX663 ultra-wide. These cameras could be tuned by Zeiss. On the inside, a hole punch cutout will accommodate the front camera sensor.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm paired with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will draw juice from an onboard 4,400mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
