The Vivo X200 series will debut in October as successors to the Vivo X100 lineup. There will be three models for now: the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and a new X200 Pro Mini. The design and colour options of the former were revealed through official teaser images. Before the official announcement in a few days, alleged official-looking images of all three Vivo X200 models have reportedly surfaced on noted Chinese retailer, JD.com, as per screenshots leaked on Weibo. These show off more than just the design.
Vivo X200 series design revealed
- Ahead of the announcement on October 14th, they were spotted on the retailer’s website but the listing doesn’t seem to be available/live anymore but the screenshots have surfaced online on Weibo.
- As per the alleged official images, all three models in the Vivo X200 series have an identical design language, distinguishing them from the crowd.
- The phones have a large circular module on the back panel to house the camera sensors. We also see Zeiss branding within the layout.
- The Vivo X200 series has a boxy chassis with rounded corners. This means that we might see a flat display, which by the way is not revealed in the images.
- In comparison, the predecessors featured a curved-edged design.
- The volume and power buttons are present on the right spine.
- The overall rear design of the phones seen in the promotional images aligns with the teaser posters shared officially by the brand.
- The Vivo X200 and X200 Pro should be available in white, black, blue, and titanium colours. Meanwhile, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini image shows white, black, pink, and green options.
The images suggest the Vivo X200 series registrations in China will begin on October 8th, with the official launch set for October 14th. There are some benefits like extended warranty, Bluetooth headset, backpack, TWS and others to customers who are registering for the Vivo X200 series before the announcement.
Since the listing on JD.com is not immediately accessible, we suggest you take the images with a pinch of salt and wait for official details from the brand.
