Amazfit Bip S India launch is set for June 3rd, as confirmed by the company. The affordable smartwatch was originally unveiled at CES earlier this year and was introduced in China last month. It ships with Huami-PAI that monitors your heart health, personal activity and overall fitness. It can track 10 sports modes — Treadmill, Outdoor running, Walking, Indoor cycling, Outdoor cycling and more. The Amazfit Bip S has an optical heart rate sensor for heart rate zones, Tri-axis Accelerometer and Tri-axis Gyro.
The Amazfit Bip S features a 1.28-inch colour Always-on touchscreen display with 2.5D corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer and 176 X 176 pixels resolution. It connects via Bluetooth 4.2 LE and is compatible with Android and iOS. It can receive notifications from a connected phone for calls, messages, emails, weather and more. The smartwatch also gets the ability to control music on the phone and is 5 ATM water-resistance.
The 200mAh battery is claimed to last up to 40 days on a single charge. The Amazfit Bip S measures 42 x 35.3 x 11.4mm and weighs 31 grams. There’s GPS + GLONASS for route tracking. We should know the India price and availability when it gets launched next month on June 3rd.
