“The Amazfit Cor 2 is a budget fitness tracker with a rugged 5 ATM water-resistant design”
Xiaomi-backed fitness brand Huami has expanded its range of wearables with the launch of the Amazfit Cor 2 in its home market of China. The device has arrived as the successor to the Huami Amazfit Cor, which was launched in India in September last year. The new accessory features almost the same set of specs as its predecessor, but boasts much longer battery life.
The Huami Amazfit Cor 2 features a rugged 5 ATM water-resistant design with a polycarbonate body. The accessory is designed to track your daily steps count, distance travelled, calories burned, sleep quality, and exercises. The device offers seven days of the weather forecasts, alarms, timer, and has a stopwatch. The wearable offers manual and continuous heart rate tracking. The brand claims the device’s 160mAh battery is capable of delivering up to 20 days of battery life.
As for the other features, the Huami Amazfit Cor 2 sports a 1.23-inch LCD colour 2.5D touch-enabled display with a layer of anti-fingerprint coating on top. The device displays notifications for messages, emails, calls, and apps from the paired smartphone. The wearable has a 3-axis accelerometer and NFC connectivity for quick payments.
Talking about the pricing, the Amazfit Cor 2 has been priced competitively at RMB 299 (~Rs 3,000). The wearable will go on sale in China starting tomorrow in a single black colour variant.
