Huami Corporation has officially launched the Amazfit GTR smartwatch in India. It flaunts a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer on top and anti-fingerprint coating. The smartwatch rocks 5 ATM water resistance and is compatible with smartphones running Android 5.0 and iOS 10 and above. The 47.2mm standard edition comes in three models: titanium, stainless steel and aluminium alloy.
The Amazfit GTR features BioTracker PPG optical heart rate sensor, 6-axis acceleration sensor, 3-axis Geomagnetic sensor, Pressure sensor, and Ambient Light sensor. It also supports app alerts, incoming calls and others. The GTR smartwatch comes with 12 different sports modes, including running, cycling, swimming, mountaineering, trail running and workout. It displays all the data like distance, pace, bpm range, time per lap and more right after the activity. The watch supports GPS + GLONASS for accurate route tracking.
Huami claims the Amazfit GTR’s 410mAh battery can last up to 24-days on a single charge with typical usage under the factory default setting and up to 74 days in basic watch mode. It connects to smartphones via Bluetooth 5.0 and measures 47.2 x 47.2 x 10.75mm. The smartwatch is water and dust resistant. The Huami Amazfit GTR 47.2mm is priced at Rs 10,999 and comes in Stainless Steel and Aluminium casing. It is already available through Flipkart.
