Amazfit X smartwatch has been launched with a unique 92-degree curved screen design that wraps around your wrist comfortably. Huami says that it is using 700-degree centigrade hot bending FPC-connected three-piece motherboard to achieve the curvature. This offers more room for apps so that users don’t have to spend time on scrolling. The Amazfit X smartwatch offers step counter, heart rate sensor, sleep tracking and much more. The pressure-sensitive sensor lets you access apps and other functions with a press of your finger.
The Huami Amazfit X sports a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with 400 nits brightness and 206 X 640 pixels resolution. The smartwatch features infrared light test to measure blood oxygen levels, water-resistance up to 50 meters and Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) for easy assessment of self. It can track sleep and also updates you about your stress levels: relaxes, normal, medium, and high. The 205mAh battery is claimed to last seven days even with heart rate monitoring, text and call notifications and tracking workouts. Sensors onboard include Photoplethysmography, SpO2 Blood oxygen sensor, and ambient light sensor.
The Huami Amazfit X smartwatch supports nine sports mode and also pushes Sedentary reminder. It measures 22.6×13.6mm and weighs 39 grams. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0 LE and GPS + GLONASS. The Amazfit X is priced at $149 (around Rs 11,400) as an early bird offer, but the actual price is $329 (around Rs 25,100). It comes in Eclipse Black and New Moon Gold colours and is up for crowdfunding on Indiegogo. The company says that it had already crossed the $20,000 goal and expects to ship the smartwatch in August 2020.
