“The Amazon Prime Day 2019 sale will offer thousands of deals in India over a 48-hour period, exclusively for the Prime members”
Amazon will be hosting its much-awaited Prime Day 2019 sale on July 15th worldwide. It’ll be the fifth annual Prime Day sale globally and the third in India for the world’s biggest online retailer — and Amazon, obviously, aims to do it better than last year, when customers had to experience a crashing website and app. The Amazon Prime Day 2019 sale will kickstart from midnight of July 15th and will continue until 11:59:59pm on July 16th. This will be the longest Prime Day sale – up from 36 hours – from the e-commerce platform. Like last year, Amazon Prime Day 2019 will offer deals and discounts, new products launches, new content for Prime Video and Prime Music users, and cashback.
“Get ready for Prime Day! – our biggest festival for Prime members gets bigger than ever this year with a two-day celebration filled with the most phenomenal deals, over thousand new product launches, blockbuster entertainment and more,” said, Amit Agarwal, SVP & Country Manager, Amazon India. “Our vision is that Prime Day should be the absolute best time to be a member where you can enjoy shopping, savings, entertainment and truly some of the best deals Prime members have ever seen. Stay tuned as we reveal big savings, thousands of Prime Day launches, as well as blockbuster entertainment and more leading up to Prime Day on July 15 and 16.”
Apart from India, the Amazon Prime Day 2019 sale will be held in the US, UK, Spain, Singapore, Netherlands, Mexico, Luxembourg, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, Austria, Australia and, for the first time, the United Arab Emirates. And as the name suggests, it will be exclusively available for Amazon Prime members only. If you’re not Amazon Prime member, but looking for Prime Day sale, you subscribe to the Rs 129 monthly pack or the Rs 999 yearly pack.
There will also be over 1000 new product launches from brands such as OnePlus (most likely Bullets Wireless 2), Samsung, and LG W series. The Prime Day sale will also be offering ‘best deals’ with the lowest prices across smartphones, consumer electronics, appliances, TVs, kitchen, daily essentials, toys, fashion, beauty and more. Amazon has partnered with HDFC to offer 10 percent instant discount and Bonus Offer to customers making payment via the bank’s credit and debit cards during the sale. Moreover, Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card users can avail unlimited reward points, plus no Cost EMI on credit/debit cards, and Bajaj Finserv EMI cards.
In the run-up of Prime Day sale, Amazon will also be releasing 14 new titles over 14 days in nine languages on Prime video. The line-up includes Kalank, Venom, Maharshi, Ishq, NGK, Parvathamma, Mukalava, Bhoot Chaturdashi, Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh, A Star Is Born, Mogra Phulaala, amongst others. For Amazon Prime Music users, there will be new playlists curated from by an array of celebrities such as Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Armaan Malik, Raftaar, Neha Kakkar, The Jonas Brothers, and others.
