Soundcore is a subsidiary of Anker, and makes some really good portable speakers. The Motion B is the latest in the series of Bluetooth speakers and it has plenty of features that should attract the right customer. It doesn’t have any fancy lights or rugged outer skin and features a simple external design that is IPX7 certified for dust and water resistance.
The Soundcore Motion B is available on Amazon India and other online stores as well as offline outlets. It is priced at Rs 3,799, which is pretty reasonable for a Bluetooth speaker. The speaker comes with a 12W output and features the BassUp technology from Anker, which is claimed to pump up the bass when a bass-heavy song is being played. The speaker features Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and provides up to 66 feet of range.
Motion B is equipped with dual 1.75-inch full range speakers with a large bass radiator that reduces distortion at high volumes. According to the company, the speaker will not distort even at full volume and will provide optimum performance. The IPX7 certification means that the speaker can withstand being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. The buttons are placed at the top of the speaker and are easily distinguishable thanks to their design.
The speaker comes with a 2,600mAh battery that can provide up to 12 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. You can also pair another Motion B speaker via Bluetooth and use it in stereo mode with a total power output of 24W. Anker has also included support for Google Assistant and Siri. You can use the speaker to control your Smart Home and get answers for your queries. Even when the music is playing, the speaker can hear voice commands.
