Apple to launch 16-inch MacBook Pro, iPhone with reverse wireless charging, 31-inch 6K display in 2019

“The Apple iPad will also see an upgrade with an increase in display size from 9.7-inch to 10.2 inch”

According to a new report by well known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the fruit company is working on several new upgrades and products for 2019. He released a new investor note recently, which stated that Apple will launch a new 16-inch MacBook Pro, 31-inch displays with 6K support, new iPads, iPhones with reverse wireless charging and upgraded Apple Watch.

Kuo has stated that iPhones in 2019 will continue to use the Lightning Connector. The new iPhones will also carry the same display sizes as the current line-up, but will come with some improved features. For example, the iPhones will get reverse wireless charging, as seen in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro (review). This will allow the iPhone to charge other wireless devices. The new 2019 iPhones will come with improved Face ID, bigger batteries and triple-rear cameras. You an expect the iPhone XR to be the cheapest of the lot and also the one with some of these features missing. He also wrote that the new iPhones will come with improved GPS for indoor navigation and positioning.

One of the most interesting points in the investor notes, is the inclusion of new MacBooks, Mac Pro and Mac Displays. Kuo writes that Apple will launch a new MacBook Pro with a 16-inch or higher display. The MacBook will get a new design, apart from the increase in display size. Apple will also release a new 31.6-inch display, which will support up to 6K resolution. It will feature amazing picture quality, according to Kuo. The Mac Pro will also see an improved design that would allow users to easily upgrade the innards. The note even adds that the 13-inch MacBook Pro will get a new 32GB RAM option.

Finally, Apple will even launch new iPads too. It will include a larger 10.2-inch display on the current 9.7-inch iPad. This means that the new iPads will feature slimmer bezels, just like the iPad Pro, which will also be receiving hardware upgrades. There could also be a new iPad mini with improved internals. The Apple Watch’s ECG feature will be available in more countries and it will be available in a new ceramic case. AirPods 2 will be updated with wireless charging support, which means that you could charge them with the new 2019 iPhones. The AirPower charging pad will be released in the first half of 2019.
