Reliance-backed Jio has launched a Bluetooth tracking device called JioTag in India. As the name suggests, this tracker is similar to Apple AirTags, used to locate items, but works through Bluetooth and is priced much lesser. Users need to connect the device to the JioThings app on their smartphone and can attach the tag to their handbag, wallet or any other item that they want to keep tabs on. The JioTag weighs just 9.5 grams, which is relatively light.

JioTag price in India, where to buy

The Apple alternative JioTag price in India is Rs 749 on the Jio website, though the MRP is Rs 2,499. The listing was first spotted by MSP. There is also a cash-on-delivery option for select pin codes. In comparison, the Apple AirTag costs Rs 3,490 for a single tracker.

Jio is offering an extra battery and lanyard cable in the box, which makes it easier for users to attach the JioTag to their belongings.
