
Six years after the original debuted, Powerbeats Pro 2 is here. This is a premium TWS earbuds from Apple’s sub-brand Beats. What makes it unique from AirPods is that it works with both iOS and Android. The newcomer is also a massive upgrade over the predecessor as it comes with features you’d consider table stakes like ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and a USB-C charging port on the case. Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 India price, availability
- Powerbeats Pro 2 is available for Rs 29,900 in India. The predecessor is currently available through Apple resellers like Aptronix for Rs 21,500.
- You can buy it from Apple and Beatsbydre websites. It will be shipped starting February 14th.
- It is out in Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple, and Electric Orange colours. That’s more options than before.
Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 features: what’s new
- Audio: The Powerbeats Pro 2 features a redesigned internal architecture and dynamic head tracking with personalised Spatial Audio. The sound profile can be tuned using the Adaptive EQ setting.
- Noise handling: You get both “Apple’s best-performing” ANC and Transparency mode (for ambient awareness). The EQ and noise handling is managed by inward-facing microphone monitors.
- Health features: The Powerbeats Pro 2 has built-in heart rate tracking, real-time syncing support with select fitness apps and fitness equipment,
- Battery, charging: Apple is claiming up to 10 hours of continuous playback from a bud and with the case 45 hours of battery life between charges. You can refuel it using a USB-C cable and Qi-based wireless chargers.
- Connectivity: The buds come with industry-leading Class 1 Bluetooth, USB-C, voice isolation for calls, one-touch pairing, automatic switching, Audio Sharing, hands-free Siri and Find My support.
- Design: You get upgraded venting, five ear tip sizes (extra-small, small, medium, large and extra-large), IPX4 sweat and water resistance, a multi-functioning button for volume control, audio playback, and enable/disable heart rate monitoring. The in-ear earbuds weigh about 9 grams and with the case, they weigh around 78 grams.
