“The Apple iPhone 6 will reportedly offer a 13MP Sony camera and a larger battery”
While Chinese smartphone makers have already started selling fully functional clones of the iPhone 6 based on the designs leaked by images, the company is also gearing up to launch the device officially. Recently, the phone was listed on Amazon in Japan, which revealed its price and availability details. Now another listing for iPhone 6 cases on Amazon give us a glimpse of its design again.
The design hinted by these cases is in line with the earlier leaked images of the phone. The front of the phone is not clearly visible via these cases, but the back indicates that it will resemble previous iterations of the phone. These cases will be available starting September 30th, which is also rumoured to be the official launch date of the phone.
Additionally, Russian website Nowhereelse has also posted a few images of the battery of the upcoming iPhone 6. According to these images, the phone will be featuring a bigger battery with a capacity of 1,810mAh.
In addition, a report coming from China is indicating that the next iPhone will feature an improved 13MP Sony Exmor IMX220 camera sensor, which will also offer full HD video recording. It will be a major upgrade over the 8MP camera available in previous iPhones.
Apple is reportedly going to start mass production of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 later this month at Foxconn’s factories. The iPhone manufacturer is also reportedly going to hire 100,000 more workers to meet the demand.
