Apple iPhone SE 4 launch set for next week, sales to begin later this month: report

The long-awaited iPhone SE 4 launch might take place as early as next week, as per a new report. It was first rumoured to launch in spring this year around March-April, but Apple is now planning to release the new iPhone SE as early as next week, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to go on sale later this month. The iPhone SE 2025 model has been rumoured for a long time and Apple is finally refreshing the model after two years.

There’s no specific date but Gurman claims the iPhone SE 4 announcement will happen next week.
Apple doesn’t plan on holding any event for the launch, suggesting it might just be a press release announcement.
Since previous iPhone SE models have launched in India, the new iPhone SE 4 is also expected to be available in the country.
To recall, Apple introduced the iPhone SE lineup in 2016 offering people an ‘affordable iPhone’ with features borrowed from the expensive models.
The iPhone SE 4 is rumoured to be the biggest upgrade in the lineup so far with a refreshed design, latest chip, Apple Intelligence, and more.

Design: Apple might finally do away with the dated Home button design on the iPhone SE 4. It’s said to feature an iPhone 14-like full screen design with a notch on top for Face ID.
Display: The iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature a 6.1-inch OLED display. It’s also rumoured to feature a Dynamic Island display, which would be a major upgrade for the device.
Processor: The new iPhone model might be powered by the A18 chip like the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus.
Cameras: It could house a 48MP single rear camera and a 24MP front camera.
Other upgrades: The iPhone SE 4 will most likely get a USB-C port instead of Lightning, and it might even debut Apple’s in-house modem replacing Qualcomm modems for cellular connectivity.
