Apple has refreshed its popular MacBook Pro lineup with meaningful upgrades. The Californian brand’s flagship laptop series now comes with M4 series chipsets, new display options, better cameras, higher base RAM, faster connectivity and more. Despite all these upgrades, Apple has maintained a starting price similar to last-generation models. Here’s all you need to know.

MacBook Pro M4 series price in India

The 14-inch variant of the MacBook Pro is available in M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max chipset options, while the larger 16-inch version only comes with M4 Pro or M4 Max chipsets. Here are the base prices of these flagship laptops.

MacBook Pro M4 series: new specs, features

The latest M4 series MacBook Pros come with multiple internal upgrades even though they start at the same price tag as before. Besides the new powerful chipsets, here’s all that’s new.

  • 16GB base unified memory for MacBook Pro with M4 chipset. 24GB base memory for MacBook Pro with M4 Pro chipsets. Similarly, 36GB base memory for the M4 Max chipset option.
  • 3 Thunderbolt 4 ports as standard for the M4 model. Thunderbolt 5 ports for M4 Pro and M4 Max chipset variants.
  • A Space Black colour option even for the base M4 chipset variant.
  • An option of Nano-texture display at an extra Rs. 15,000.
  • New Liquid Retina XDR display with support for 1,000-nits brightness even for SDR content.
  • 12MP Center Stage Camera with support for Desk View.

The new MacBook Pro is a compelling upgrade with impressive prices. Apple has also bumped up the base RAM of MacBook Air M2 and M3 variants to 16GB, which starts at Rs. 99,000 in the country.

The new laptops can be pre-ordered immediately while deliveries or open sales will start on November 8. Students can avail themselves of additional discounts through the education store, while others can opt for instant cashback with Axis, ICICI, or Amex cards in India.
