After the iPad Air (4th Gen) and iPad (8th Gen) were spotted on Amazon India, the new Apple Watch SE and Watch Series 6 have also been listed on the e-commerce platform. These are the newest products that Apple announced at its ‘Time Flies’ event last week. The latest iPads and Apple smartwatches will be coming to India soon and will be available to buy on Amazon in addition to authorised resellers in the country. The iPad Air 4, iPad 8, Apple Watch SE, and Series 6 are also expected to be available through the Apple Store online, which is set to launch in India tomorrow i.e. September 23rd.
While the Apple Watch SE and Watch Series 6 have been listed on Amazon, the products cannot be bought just yet. Apple is yet to reveal the exact release date for the products, but we expect them to arrive by the end of the month or early October. The company has revealed the starting prices for its newest smartwatches.
Apple Watch SE (GPS) price in India is set at Rs 29,990 while the Watch SE (GPS + Cellular) costs Rs 33,900. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch Series 6 India price starts at Rs 40,900 for the GPS-only model and Rs 49,900 for the GPS + Cellular variant. Both the Apple Watch SE and Series 6 come in 40mm and 44mm sizes and the company has not revealed the full prices for all the variants yet.
Apple Watch SE is the “affordable” smartwatch from the company, which aims to attract Series 3 customers. The Watch SE gets the same design and display as Series 5, but without some features like Always On Display, U1 Ultra-Wideband, ECG tracking, and blood oxygen measurement. Apple Watch Series 6, on the other hand, is the flagship smartwatch that comes with blood oxygen (SpO2) sensor, a 20 percent faster dual-core S6 processor, always-on altitude tracking, and more. Both watches ship with the latest watchOS 7 that brings sleep tracking, handwashing detection, and new watch faces.
