“The AQ-FIT W8 smartwatch comes with the IP68 certification”
Tech startup AQ-Fit has launched its new smartwatch W8. The wearable can be connected with any smartphone by downloading the Da Fit app and it also features a waterproof construction.
Commenting on the launch event, the business head of AQ-FIT, Sanjeev Singh said, “We are open with new launches and are focussed to achieve top 5 smart fitness category in 2020.”
The smartwatch sports a metal unibody design and comes with a 1.33-inch IPS full-colour touchscreen display. The screen also gets a 2.5D curved glass. The panel sits under the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Additionally, the device comes with the IP68 certification that makes it withstand up to 5 ATM of underwater pressure.
To start with the features, the customised smartwatch is claimed to receive continuous social media updates and can display them in real-time along with notification of calls, messages and alarms. It can also maintain the track record of user’s fitness and activity on a daily basis along with sleep monitoring for future reference. The company claims that the components of the wearable are convenient and removable for cleaning.
Moreover, it’s capable of 24 hours Health monitoring that includes collecting statistics such as heartrate, Blood Pressure, Sedentary, SPO2 etc. The smartwatch is also equipped with a pedometer (that counts the number of steps taken in a day) and offers calorie monitoring function. To attract sports enthusiasts, AQ-FIT has included multiple sports mode tracker on its feature list.
