Ubisoft is running a free weekend of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It should be noted that you will need Xbox Live Gold subscription to play the game for free during this weekend. Ubisoft is letting players try out Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for free in anticipation of the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC, which launches on March 10. Along with these, the game is available at a discounted price on all digital storefronts for a limited time. The progress made during Assassin’s Creed Valhalla free weekend will carry over if you buy the game. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be free-to-play until February 28th.
The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla free weekend will give you access to the base game. Post-launch expansions like Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris need to be purchased separately. However, you will be able to play Valhalla’s Crossover Stories where Eivor crosses paths with Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. It’s almost impossible to finish Assassin’s Creed Valhalla during a weekend, even after you skip all the side-quests and exploration. If you only focus on the main quest, you would still need around 60 hours to complete the game.
