ASUS 6Z is getting the stable Android 10 update in India. The 809.89MB update brings the software version to 17.1810.1910.63 and ZenUI 6 custom UI. Android 10 update brings system-wide dark theme, sharing shortcuts in apps, improved permissions, added fully gesture navigation in display setting and support for Google Play system update. The rollout has already begun in India and the US (where it’s called ZenFone 6) but might take a week or two to reach everyone. Alternatively, users can check for update in the Settings > System > System Updates.

ASUS 6Z flaunts a 6.4-inch full-HD+ IPS NanoEdge HDR10 display, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 6. It is powered by a 2.84GHz octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB onboard storage that is further expandable via microSD card support. In terms of optics, the ASUS 6Z features a unique flip camera setup which houses dual cameras consisting of a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX586 sensor and a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor with 125-degree field-of-view. It has support for Super Night mode that is claimed to improve the quality of lowlight photos.
The ASUS 6Z packs a beefy 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging tech. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The ASUS ZenFone 6Z comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, 5-magnet stereo speaker, Dual NXP TFA9874 smartamp, and dual microphones.
