ASUS ExpertBook P1, P3 and P5 series laptops launched in India: price, specifications

ASUS has launched the ExpertBook P1, P3, and P5 series laptops in India. The ASUS ExpertBook P5 laptops are powered with up to the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors with the integrated Intel AI Boost NPU. Meanwhile, the ASUS ExpertBook P1 and P3 series laptops feature up to Intel Core i7 13th gen processors.

ASUS ExpertBook P1, P3 and P5: price in India, availability

• The ASUS ExpertBook P1 series starts at Rs 39,990 in the country. While the ExpertBook P3 and ExpertBook P5 are available at a starting price of Rs 64,990 and Rs 94,990.
• The latest ExpertBook laptops will be available on Flipkart starting April 21st in the country.
• ASUS is offering an instant discount of Rs 3,000 for purchases made between April 21st and April 27th through Flipkart.
• Customers purchasing the laptops until April 23rd will also be eligible for a free two-year extended warranty and free two-year local accidental damage protection.
• ASUS is also bundling a free one-year McAfee+ Premium subscription worth Rs 3,900 with the ExpertBook laptops.

ASUS ExpertBook P1 series: specifications, features

The ASUS ExpertBook P1403 and P1503 share identical specifications except for the display. Here are the complete specifications.

• Display: The P1403 and P1503 sport 14-inch and 15.6-inch FHD IPS displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio and wide view. The anti-glare panel offers up to 300 nits brightness and 45% NTSC.
• Processor: The ExpertBook P1 series are available with Intel Core i3-1315U, i5-13420H and i7-13620H processors. All the chipsets are integrated with Intel UHD graphics.
• Software: The laptops run on Windows 11 Home out of the box. ASUS integrates Microsoft Office 2024 and Microsoft 365 Basic with the ExpertBook P1 series. It also supports MyASUS and ASUS AI ExpertMeet.

• Memory and storage: The device has two SO-DIMM slots which support up to 64 GB DDR5 5200 MHz RAM. It also has two M2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD slots.
• Camera: On the optics front, it has an HD camera for video calls alongside a 2x array microphone with ASUS AI Noise-cancellation tech. It also has a webcam shield and dual speakers with Dirac technology support.
• Connectivity and ports: It supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. The laptop has 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C ports (PD and DisplayPort support), 2x USB 3.2 Gen Gen1 Type A, 1x HDMI, 1x 3.5mm audio jack, 1x RJ 45 and 1x Kensington nano lock slot.
• Battery and charging: Both the 14-inch and 15.6-inch variants pack an identical 50Wh 3-cell Li-Polymer battery with 65W USB Type C PD+PPS charging support.
• Others: It has a full-size keyboard with 1.35mm key travel and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the touchpad.

ASUS ExpertBook P3: specifications

The ASUS ExpertBook P3 offers the same features as the ExpertBook P1, including memory, storage, software, and more. However, its specifications differ significantly in other aspects. Here are the details.

• Design and Build: The ExpertBook P3 has an all-aluminium chassis and is available in a Misty Grey colour shade. It has US MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability.
• Display: It has a 14-inch FHD IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, anti-glare, up to 400 nits brightness, 45% NTSC and up to 100% sRGB.

• Processor: The laptop is available with Intel Core i5-13420H and i7-13620H processors which integrate the Intel UHD graphics. It runs Windows 11 Pro and integrates Office 2024 and M365 Basic.
• Camera: It has a slightly higher-res 1080p FHD camera with IR functionality for Windows Hello with a privacy shutter. The ExpertBook P3 also sports a built-in speaker and microphone with Smart Amp tech and Audio by Dirac.
• Others: It has a backlit chiclet keyboard with spill resistance and a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

ASUS ExpertBook P5: specifications

The ASUS ExpertBook P5 is a Copilot PC which is available with up to Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 processors. Here are the key details.

• Design and Build: The ExpertBook P5 has also an all-aluminium chassis with US MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability. It is available in Misty Grey shades. 

• Display: The device sports a 14-inch FHD IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, anti-glare, up to 400 nits brightness, 45% NTSC and up to 100% sRGB. It is also available with an WQXGA panel which supports 144Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
• Processor: The ExpertBook P5 is available with Intel Core Ultra 5 226V and Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processors which come with 16GB and 32GB RAM, respectively. It integrates Intel AI Boost NPU and Intel Arc Graphics.
• Battery and charging: The laptop is backed by 63Wh battery with 65W USB Type C PD+PPS charging support. 
• Others: It has an upgraded Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
