ASUS ROG Phone 3 is on sale in India for the first time starting today i.e August 6th on Flipkart during the Big Savings Days sale. The handset was announced back in July and is the third iteration in the series. The ASUS ROG Phone 3 is a flagship gaming phone touting specifications such as the Snapdragon 865+ SoC, 144Hz AMOLED display and a massive 6,000mAh battery with 30W hyper charging support. ASUS ROG Phone 3 price in India and Flipkart sale details
ASUS ROG Phone 3 India price is set at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB + 128GB base variant and Rs 57,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. As a part of the launch offer, Flipkart is offering Rs 1,500 instant discount on Citi Bank credit and debit card and ICICI bank credit card. ROG Phone 3 Lighting Armor case is priced at Rs 2,999, while the glass screen protector comes at Rs 699. The Flipkart Big Savings Days sale will last until Monday, August 10th.
ASUS ROG Phone 3 specifications
ASUS ROG Phone 3 sports a 6.59-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,340p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ support, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 up front and Gorilla Glass 3 at the back. It is powered by the Snapdragon 865+ SoC with Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. It runs on Android 10 OS with ROG UI custom layer on top. As for the optics, the ROG Phone 3 has triple camera setup at the back with 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13MP 125-degree wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. Upfront, there is a 24MP sensor for selfies and video calling.
The ASUS ROG 3 packs a large 6,000mAh battery with 30W hyper charging support. There are dual front-facing speakers with GameFX and Dirac HD Sound, microphones with noise reduction technology, and HyperFusion technology to manage Wi-Fi and mobile connection. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security “GameCool 3” tech that uses a layered sandwich design with a large graphite film, ‘enlarged’ head sink, and an improved Copper 3D vapour-chamber.
