- ASUS ROG Phone 3 design will be similar to the ROG Phone 2
- The gaming phone is expected to come with triple cameras, customisable LED ROG logo, 144Hz display and a 6,000mAh battery
ASUS ROG Phone 3 is the company’s upcoming flagship gaming phone that is rumoured to launch as early as July. It will succeed the ROG Phone 2 and is tipped to come with a similar design. We already know a fair deal about the ROG Phone 3 specifications thanks to TENAA and Geekbench listings. Now, as we wait for the announcement, an alleged hands-on video of the phone has surfaced on Weibo, revealing the ROG Phone 3 design in all its glory ahead of launch. As per the video, it seems the back of the ROG Phone 3 will look similar to its predecessor, although with a much cleaner finish.

The back has a patterned glass design with customisable LED ROG logo in the middle and horizontally aligned cameras. It seems ASUS has reduced the extreme patters and angled lines for a more minimalistic and cleaner look. The camera module also seems to have a different shape and is slightly longer this time to accommodate triple sensors, instead of dual cameras seen on the ROG Phone 2. Going by the hands-on video, the ROG Phone 3 looks to be a heavy device weighing in at 240 grams (as per TENAA). The phone is slightly curved at the back for a comfortable grip in hand.
