ASUS ROG Phone 5 price in India, specifications, and sale details have been announced as the company has officially launched the phone. ASUS has also introduced the ROG Phone 5 Pro and 5 Ultimate Edition. The latter comes with a whopping 18GB RAM and 512GB storage. ASUS ROG Phone 5 retains a similar design as its predecessor, the ROG Phone 3. However, the ROG Phone 5 Pro and 5 Ultimate Edition come with ROG Vision – Color PMOLED and monochrome PMOLED display at the back that can show customisable graphics for incoming calls, loading a game, charging, and more. ASUS ROG 5 is priced at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB+128GB model and Rs 57,999 for the 12GB+256GB storage variant. The ROG Phone 5 Pro 16GB+512GB model costs Rs 69,999, while the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate Edition is priced at Rs 79,999 for the 18GB+512GB. ROG Phone 5 sale in India will start on April 15th on Flipkart.

The ASUS ROG Phone 5 sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2,448 x 1,080 pixels resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ support, 20.4:9 aspect ratio, Pixelworks i6 display processor, and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It is powered by a 2.84GHz Snapdragon 888 SoC with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 11-based ROG UI custom skin on top and packs a large 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.
Moving to optics, the ASUS ROG Phone 5 has a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP (f/1.8 aperture) Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13MP (f/2.4 aperture) 125-degree wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. There is a 24MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calling and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The phone has a ROG (RGB light) logo and dual 7-magnet linear 12x16mm front-facing speakers with GameFX and Dirac HD sound powered by dual Cirrus Logic CS35L45 Mono AMP. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
ASUS ROG Phone 5 comes with GameCool 5, combined with the best components and PC-like control of the SoC, users can overclock and increase the throttle limit of the CPU/GPU for demanding games and limit the performance for longer battery life. It offers a side-charging design, the latest AirTrigger 5 technology, dual front-facing speakers, multi-antenna Wi-Fi, and a quad-mic noise-cancelling array. The new AeroActive Cooler 5 offers two physical buttons for game input, a kickstand, and a fan that draws its power directly from the phone. ASUS is offering multiple accessories, ROG Kunai 3 gamepad for ROG Phone 5, ROG Clip, profession Dock, and Lighting Armor Case.

The ROG Phone 5 Ultimate Edition comes with a whopping 18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It comes in matte white and with a monochrome PMOLED display. The rest of the specifications remain the same.
