ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro India launch date revealed

ASUS India has officially announced the launch of the upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 6 and Phone 6 Pro in India. The launch is scheduled for July 5th and will take place at a virtual meeting on YouTube at 5:20 pm IST.

The launch will also provide more details about the device’s price and availability. So far, ASUS is expected to utilise Flipkart’s platform to sell the ROG Phone 6 series in India.

ASUS ROG Phone 6 specifications (expected)

The ASUS ROG Phone 6 is expected to come with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The flagship phone will pair up the processor with up to 18GB of RAM and up to 1TB of onboard storage. The ROG Phone 6 is also likely to sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel that supports a 165Hz refresh rate for gaming enthusiasts.

Under the hood, there will be a 5,850mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. At the back there will be a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary shooter and the system will support 5X optical zoom. The ROG Phone 6 is expected to be IPX4 certified as well. Not much is known about the ROG Phone 6 Pro at the moment.
