ASUS ROG Phone 6D, 6D Ultimate with MediaTek Dimensity 9000+, 165Hz refresh rates launched: price, specifications

ASUS ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ display, 165Hz refresh rate, a 6000mAh battery, 65W fast charging support, upon to 16GB RAM, Android 12 OS, 50MP primary camera and a 12MP selfie shooter.

The ASUS ROG Phone 6D is priced at £799 (approx Rs 72,490) while the ASUS 6D Ultimate costs £1,199 (around Rs 1.08 lakh) in the UK. These come in a single Space Gray colour and are bundled with the AeroActive Cooler 6. The phones will roll out soon.

ASUS ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate have the same 6.78-inch FHD+ 10-bit OLED display with 2448 × 1080 pixels resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 20.4:9 aspect ratio, 720Hz touch sampling rate, 111.23 percent DCI-P3, up to 800nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor paired with Mali-G710 MC10 GPU.

The phones pack 16GB LPDDR5x RAM with 256GB storage on the standard variant and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage on the ASUS 6D Ultimate. They run on Android 12 with ROG and Zen UI custom skin out of the box. The phones are equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, Qualcomm WCD9385 for Hi-Res output, symmetrical dual front-facing speakers with Dirac HD Sound, 5-magnet stereo speaker and IPX4 rating.

These come with Ultrasonic sensors for AirTrigger 6 and grip press detection. The phone packs a 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.

The ASUS ROG 6D and 6D Ultimate pack a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, there is a 13MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 5MP macro sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phones pack a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor for video chats and selfies.
