ASUS has been pretty aggressive with its VivoBook launches lately with the VivoBook S14, S15 and VivoBook 15 launching in India recently. Now, the Taiwanese brand has gone ahead and launched the 14-inch variant of the last one, called VivoBook 14 (X420). The notebook flaunts frameless display, 8th Generation Intel Core i7 SoC and cutting edge connectivity options as its highlights.

The ASUS VivoBook 14 comes with a frameless four-sided NanoEdge display, which offers a screen-to-body ratio of 87 percent. The display on the latest VivoBook comes with full HD resolution and wide-view technology, which offers accurate colour production and great viewing angles. The compact frame of the VivoBook 14 has been equipped with ErgoLift hinge that tilts the keyboard to replicate the feel of a desktop keyboard for a comfortable typing experience. Weighing at just 1.4kg, the VivoBook 14 measures 322.4 x 210 x 17.7mm.

Coming to the core specs, the VivoBook 14 is powered by an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and offers up to a 512GB SSD. The laptop has been equipped with a a full-size backlit keyboard and touchpad with fingerprint scanner built-in. On the connectivity front, the notebook offers dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 2.0, HDMI output, and a microSD card reader. While the battery capacity has not been revealed by the brand, ASUS claims that the battery is three times more durable than normal Lithium-ion batteries. Further, the battery gets support for fast charging, which can charge it up to 60 percent in just 49 minutes.
