ASUS Vivobook S14 and S15 notebooks launched in India starting at Rs 54,990

ASUS has expanded its range of laptops in India with the launch of the Vivobook S14 (S530) and Vivobook S15 (S430). The Windows 10-powered laptops are equipped with 8th-gen Intel Core i7 processors, and are loaded with optional built-in fingerprint sensors and dual storage capability. The notebooks are packed with ErgoLift hinge, which automatically tilts the keyboard in a way to recreate the filling of a desktop keyboard. The hinge is touted to provide extra ventilation for improved cooling.

The ASUS Vivobook S14 will be available at the starting price of Rs 54,990 in all ASUS exclusive stores across the country starting November 15th. The Vivobook S15 will be released at the starting price tag of Rs 69,990 exclusively on Flipkart starting November 1st. They come in multiple colour variants – Firmament Green, Star Grey, Silver Blue, Gun Metal, and Icicle Gold.

The ASUS Vivobook S14 and S15 can be configured with up to 8th-gen Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 discrete graphics. Both notebooks sport a dual-storage design. They are loaded with ASUS Wi-Fi Master technology, which offers a more reliable dual-band Wi-Fi that has a top speed of up to 867Mbps. The other connectivity features include USB Type-C port, USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and a microSD card slot.

The ASUS Vivobook S14 and S15 laptops are said to offer all-day battery life and fast-charge technology, which is claimed to fuel the notebooks by up to 60 percent charge in 49 minutes. They feature a new three-sided NanoEdge design with an 86 percent screen to body ratio on S15 and 84 percent on S15. Individually, the Vivobook S14 offers a 14-inch display, while the Vivobook S15 gets a 15.6-inch screen. Lastly, ASUS mentions that these devices support easy multitasking, multimedia editing, and casual gaming experience.

ASUS has not officially announced the RAM and storage configurations for the two new models. However, in the US both the laptops are available with up to 16GB of RAM and 2GB of VRAM. The 14-inch model comes with up to 512GB SSD + up to 1TB HDD, while the 15-inch laptop has a up to 512GB + up to 1TB HDD.
