ASUS has refreshed its laptop lineup with a flurry of launches at Computex 2019, including the new VivoBook S14, S15, and ZenBook Pro Duo models. The new ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo boasts ScreenPad Plus, a secondary touchscreen display integrated in the trackpad to offer “creative possibilities, productivity-enhancing workflows, and easy multitasking” for content creators. The VivoBook S14 and S15, meanwhile, are “ultra-portables” featuring ASUS ScreenPad 2.0 secondary screen that adds a dash of personality to mobile computing to appeal to a younger audience.
ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo specifications
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo ships with a 14-inch /15.6-inch frameless 16:9 aspect ratio primary display and 12.6-inch/ 14-inch ScreenPad Plus secondary display. Both the screens bear a resolution of up to 4K UHD resolution. The machine also has ASUS NumberPad dual-function touchpad besides the keyboard. The notebook is powered by up to 9th Generation Intel Core i9 CPU paired with either GeForce MX250 or RTX 2060 GPU and up to 32GB of RAM. There’s a dedicated Turbo Fan button to boost cooling and the ErgoLift hinge, which as per the company, improves airflow under the laptop.
The maximum storage onboard is 1TB. The laptop runs Windows 10 Home/ Pro version to take care of the software side of things. In terms of connectivity options, you get Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port, 2x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type A ports, a standard HDMI, audio jack, and DC-in ports (the 14-inch ZenBook Pro Duo also has microSD card slot). Other features include up to 71W 4W Lithium Polymer battery, Harman Kardon-certified speakers, and microphones with Alexa and Cortana voice support.

ASUS VivoBook S14, S15 specifications
The new VivoBook S14 and VivoBook S15 respectively pack 14-inch and 15.6-inch ‘NanoEdge’ display with a full-HD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 88 percent screen-to-body ratio. The notebook is driven by either Intel Core i5 or i7 processor depending on the variant you buy. The CPU is mated with NVIDIA GeForce MX250/ Intel UHD Graphics 620, up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB storage. The pair of ultraportables are the first in the series to feature a 5.65-inch ASUS ScreenPad 2.0 Secondary screen that includes Quick Key for one-tap automation of complex keyboard sequences, Handwriting for natural text input, and Number Key for rapid data entry.
Both VivoBook S14 and S15 laptops also boast of metal chassis and ErgoLift hinge design for comfortable typing. Connectivity options include WiFi 5/6, Bluetooth, USB 3.1 Type-C, Type-A USB 3.1, USB 2.0, HDMI, Combo audio jack, and SD card reader. The machines run Windows 10 Pro/ Home out of the box, and it also has Harmon Kardon-certified speakers and array microphone for Cortana and Alexa voice support. On the battery front, the VivoBook S14 and S15 house 47W cell that’s backed by fast charging tech. The laptops come in Moss Green, Punk Pink, and Transparent Silver colour options.
