ASUS is expected to launch its next-gen ZenFone 4 series of flagship smartphones in Europe in September. Ahead of the unveiling, the company has launched the ZenFone 4 Max in Russia. The mid-range smartphone features an all-metal unibody design, a dual camera setup at the rear and a massive 5,000mAh battery.
The ASUS ZenFone 4 Max features a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved IPS display. It comes in two processor configurations – a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC and a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, depending on the market. There are three RAM and storage options on offer – 2GB + 16GB, 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB, all of which support microSD cards up to 256GB in size.
The camera department on the ZenFone 4 Max includes two 13MP rear shooters and an 8MP selfie snapper. The phone offers 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS for connectivity. The other specs include Android Nougat with ZenUI 3.0 on top, 5-magnet speakers with NXP Smart Amp amplifier, dual noise-cancelling microphones and a fingerprint sensor.
The ASUS ZenFone 4 Max’s price starts at 13,900 Rubles (~Rs 15,170). It is available in three hues – black, gold and pink.
