“ASUS ZenFone 6 is expected to come with Snapdragon 855, dual rear cameras, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.”
ASUS ZenFone 6 launch is just a day away, and at this point, we know a good deal about the handset including its key specifications. A couple of days ago, in a teaser, the brand confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC and will also retain the 3.5mm audio jack. Now, ahead of tomorrow’s launch, renders of the ZenFone 6 surfaced online, courtesy of SlashLeaks. The renders reiterate bezel-less display and also showcase a motorised rotating dual camera module that slides up and swivels for selfie clicks.
Furthermore, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the front is all display with completely zero bezels. The earpiece is present in the top frame, the volume rocker, power button, and a dedicated Google Assistant smart key are present on the right. While the SIM tray and dedicated microSD card slot are placed on the left; a notification LED will be present on the top. These latest renders also corroborate with the alleged case renders that leaked online a while ago, in terms of design.
While it is not confirmed, ZenFone 6 might come in more than just a single variant and the top tier model is expected to pack triple rear cameras. According to a cryptic message posted by a company executive, it is said to rock a 48MP primary rear camera, which could be the Sony IMX586 sensor. A 5,000mAh battery could fuel the phone. The AnTuTu benchmarking results revealed the ZenFone 6 is likely to sport a full-HD+ display with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio screen. It is said to run on Android 9.0 Pie with Zen UI and is speculated to come in three variants – 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. With the launch just a day away, we should know more details then.
