ASUS ZenFone 7/ 7Z specifications
According to the Geekbench listing, ASUS ZF/ ZenFone 7/ 7Z specifications will include the kona chipset; kona is the codename for Snapdragon 865. Therefore, we can be certain the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC, which powers most of the Android flagships these days. This 1.8GHz octa-core chipset is backed by as much as 16GB of RAM and runs Android 10 operating system. The handset scores 973 points in the single-core Geekbench test and 3,346 points in the multi-core test.
That’s all the information we can divulge at the moment! ASUS is yet to confirm when it’s planning to launch its next flagship, but a Qualcomm press note from earlier this year revealed the Asus Zenfone 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC.
As mentioned earlier, ASUS Zenfone 6 or 6Z was launched globally back in May last year; it features Snapdragon 855 SoC and a unique flip camera design. Other ASUS 6Z specifications include a 6.4-inch ‘NanoEdge’ FHD+ display, 48MP dual cameras, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The upcoming ASUS ZenFone 7 or 7Z is likely to top these specifications and come with a sticker price of around Rs 40,000 to compete against the likes of OnePlus 8 series.
