A new ASUS phone with model number ASUS_I002D has appeared on Geekbench with some key specifications. The ASUS_I002D model, which is believed to be the ASUS ZenFone 7, was previously spotted at certification platforms like NCC and TUV Rheinland. The certifications revealed details like Wi-Fi 6 support, Bluetooth 5.0, and 5,000mAh battery. The Geekbench certification we spotted today reveals the ASUS ZenFone 7 (or the ZenFone 7 Pro) will be powered by the Snapdragon 865+ chipset and 8GB RAM.

In the source code, we discovered the clock speed listed as 3.09GHz, which makes it pretty clear that this is the new Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset. The ASUS_I002D aka ASUS ZenFone 7 is set to launch as a flagship phone with high-end specifications. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on when the phone will launch.
As per past reports, the ASUS ZenFone 7 phones will retail the flip camera design that was seen on the ZenFone 6. So you can expect a notch-less display, possibly upgraded to an AMOLED panel. More about the ZenFone 7 series is expected to be revealed in the weeks to come.
