ASUS has launched a new variant of the budget ZenFone Go smartphone in Russia. The new ZenFone Go ZB450KL is a successor to the 2nd-gen ZenFone Go ZB452KG, which was launched in India in April. The new model comes with upgraded innards, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with ZenUI 2.0 on top. It comes in 3G and 4G variants, with the latter offering LTE Cat. 4 download speeds.
The ASUS ZenFone Go ZB450KL sports a compact 4.5-inch display bearing a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It utilises a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, mated to 1GB of RAM and Adreno 306 graphics. The phone offers 8GB of internal memory, and supports microSD cards up to 128GB in size. It features an 8-megapixel rear snapper with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash, and a 2-megapixel selfie shooter. A 2,070mAh battery keeps the whole package running.
The ZenFone Go ZB460KL has been priced at RUB 7,990, around Rs 8,250, and will go on sale in Russia soon. As of now, there’s no word on when the brand plans to launch the phone in more markets.
