It appears that ASUS is gearing up to launch a new Zenfone series smartphone in the near future. The company’s upcoming device in this range, the ASUS Zenfone ZE500CL has surfaced online in some live images. In addition, the specifications of the phone have also leaked.
According to a report by Sogi Taiwan, the Zenfone ZE500CL will be a variant of the Zenfone 2. It will arrive with a 5-inch HD IPS display and will be powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core CPU, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device will house 16GB of internal memory on board, which will be further expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card. The phone will run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, and will offer 8MP/2MP cameras, 4G LTE, micro-USB, and a 2,500mAh battery.
