In this article, we have listed some of the best battery backup phones available in India for under Rs 70,000.

We compiled this list using each device’s PCMark battery test result, which calculates battery life by performing benchmarks until it reaches 20 percent, and also ran YouTube videos to check the battery drain. This should give you an idea of how capable the phones should be in battery life.

Realme GT 7 Pro

Price: Starts at Rs 59,999 (12GB+256GB)

Grabbing the first spot on the list is India’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered phone, the Realme GT 7 Pro, which is equipped with a 5,800mAh battery. In our tests, the device achieved 17 hours and 34 minutes on the PCMark battery drain test. When watching a 4K YouTube video for 30 minutes, there was a 4 percent battery drop.

The Vivo X100 is the brand’s premium smartphone from last year that continues to make a mark when it comes to offering high battery endurance despite having a modest 5,000mAh battery. In our tests, the device clocked 17 hours on the PCMark test and saw a decrease of 3 percent battery in the YouTube streaming test.

Yet another 2024 flagship smartphone on this list is the Xiaomi 14, which achieved a respectable score of 15 hours and 45 minutes on the PCMark test despite rocking just a 4,610mAh battery. In YouTube, the Xiaomi 14 saw a battery drop of 3 percent when watching a video in 4K resolution for 30 minutes.

Launched late last year MediaTek’s flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9400, the Vivo X200 is the fourth best battery backup phone under the Rs 70,000 segment. It recorded 13 hours and 52 minutes on the PCMark drain test, while on YouTube the phone drained its battery by 3 percent when watching a 4K video for 30 minutes.

 The Vivo X200 rocks a big 5,800mAh battery and comes with 90W fast charging. We were able to fully charge the device from 20 percent in 38 minutes. Some other specifications of the Vivo X200 are 6.67-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, IP69 rating, 50MP main camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Xiaomi 15

The Xiaomi 15 is the latest flagship to enter this list. With a 5,240mAh battery in tow, the handset lasted 13 hours and 44 minutes from 100 to 20 percent on the PCMark drain test. It saw a decrease of 3 percent in battery in the YouTube streaming test when watching a 4K video for 30 minutes.
