Xiaomi recently jumped on the 18:9 bandwagon with its newest fifth-generation Redmi Note series smartphones. The Redmi Note 5 comes with a 5.99-inch 18:9 display bearing a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels (FHD+), a pixel density of 403ppi and 2.5D curved glass on top. The device is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU. It comes in two RAM and storage variants – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. For cameras, you get 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It boots Android Nougat and is fuelled by 4,000mAh battery.

Infinix Hot S3

The Infinix Hot S3 flaunts massive 4,000mAh battery and a selfie flash its USP. The device features a 5.65-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, and boots Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. For cameras, it gets a powerful 20-megapixel camera on the front and a 13-megapixel shooter on the rear panel. The performance of the device is handled by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The device comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB.

10.or G

The interestingly named handset maker, 10.or (pronounced as Tenor) debuted in the Indian handset market last year with budget offerings. The 10.or G ships with a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with a layer of 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The performance of the handset is driven by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, mated to Adreno 506 graphics. The device comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. In the imaging department, it gets a pair of 13MP cameras on back and a 16MP selfie shooter. The handset runs on a 4,000mAh battery that is rated to deliver two days of regular usage.

Micromax Canvas Infinity

Micromax finds its place on this list thanks to its 18:9 display toting Canvas Infinity. The device features a metal frame with a removable back and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It comes with a 5.7-inch display bearing a unique resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels, which translates into an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood, it has got a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, mated to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It comes with a 13-megapixel shooter at the rear with an LED flash, and a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. Keeping the lights on for the handset is a 2,900mAh battery.

Lenovo K8 Plus

Lenovo’s dual camera offering – the K8 Plus – is another smartphone worth the price tag it comes with. It comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. For imaging, there is a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel secondary snapper, both aided by LED flash units. In the software department, the Lenovo K8 Plus runs the stock iteration of Android Nougat out of the box. The handset sips power from a 4,000mAh battery.

The Moto E4 Plus deserves a worthy mention here. The mainstay of the device is its 5,000mAh battery with support for rapid charging. The handset is a significant upgrade over its predecessor in terms of design and specs. The metal-clad handset features a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC mated to 3GB RAM, a 13MP camera, a 5MP selfie shooter and a fingerprint scanner. The Moto E4 Plus has another advantage going for it in the form of the stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
