Black Mirror is coming back for another season, and this time it’s got some popular faces gracing the screen. Black Mirror Season 6 has been confirmed, and its release timeline along with a teaser trailer has also been revealed. The first Black Mirror hit Netflix back in 2011 and it has since been a hit with is dystopian take on the use of technology.

Black Mirror Season 6 will start streaming on Netflix in June but an exact date hasn’t been disclosed yet. The return of Black Mirror is even more exciting since the show was on a hiatus for the past three years with the last season airing in 2019. There was even an interactive movie called Black Mirror: Bandersnatch where viewers make the decisions for the lead character.
Black Mirror Season 6: what to expect
Black Mirror Season 6 is slated to be the most unexpected one yet with the episodes surprising even the creator Charlie Brooker himself. Brooker goes on to tell Netflix that every episode of the new season will not be what the viewers are expecting. With an almost four-year wait, Black Mirror has some high expectations riding on it.
“Consequently, this time, alongside some of the more familiar Black Mirror tropes we’ve also got a few new elements, including some I’ve previously sworn blind the show would never do, to stretch the parameters of what ‘a Black Mirror episode’ even is. Black Mirror is also getting a star-studded cast for its latest season including Hollywood star Salma Hayek, Aaron Paul everyone’s other favourite from Breaking Bad, Annie Murphy from Schitt’s Creek, and Shadow and Bone’s Ben Barnes. The list of actors also include Anjana Vasan, Auden Thornton, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman, Danny Ramirez, Himesh Patel, John Hannah, and more.
The teaser trailer shows us a glimpse of what’s going to happen in Season 6 but there isn’t much we can decipher from it other than knowing that it is going to be one hell of a ride. And we’re expecting each episode to have us saying, “What the <bleep> is this? How the <bleep> is this?”, just like the guy at the end of the trailer.
