“The BlackBerry Z3 is reportedly launching in India in the coming weeks at an affordable price tag”
The Canadian smartphone maker BlackBerry’s cheapest full touchscreen smartphone, the BlackBerry Z3 is coming soon to India. The Financial Express reports that it could launch in the country in a couple of weeks for around Rs 11,000. The BlackBerry Z3 is the company’s latest effort to be back in the reckoning in markets like Indonesia and India, where it still enjoys popularity.
The BlackBerry Z3 comes with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor. Performance is further enhanced by 1.5GB of RAM and Adreno 305 GPU. It runs the latest BlackBerry 10.2 operating system. A 5MP rear shooter and a 1.1MP front facing snapper are on board. There is 8GB of internal storage, further expandable via microSD cards. A 2,500mAh battery keeps the show running. It has the regular set of connectivity features including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The BlackBerry Z3 was released in Indonesia last month and is getting a good response from consumers there. It’s expected that the company will offer the Z3 in India at an affordable price tag to regain its lost market share.
