“The QC35 II is the world’s first headphone to offer built-in Google Assistant functionality”
Earlier in September, Bose announced the QuietComfort 35 II as the world’s first headphones to offer built-in Google Assistant. Today, the company has launched the Bose QC35 II in the Indian market. The new headphones come as the successor to the highly popular Bose QC35 (review). Apart from offering support for built-in Google Assistant, the QC35 II also comes with the trademark noise-cancelling feature, which lets you control the noise around you.
The Bose QC35 II features a new Action Button on the left earcup, which lets you connect to Google Assistant on your connected smartphone. You can use the button to summon Google Assistant without having to touch and unlocking your phone. You can do several things using the Google Assistant on your QC35 II, including playing and controlling your music, managing your daily tasks, hearing incoming messages, setting reminders, etc. You can also ask questions and find information using the Assistant like checking cricket scores, reading the latest headlines, checking your flight time, what movies are playing locally and a lot more.
Bose says that its proprietary microphone system on the QC35 II picks-up voices with accuracy, so commands are understood. As for the noise cancelling, it’s automatically activated when the headphone are being used. You can also use the Bose Connect app on your smartphone to keep the noise cancelling on high, turn it down to low or disable it completely. You can also change the action button’s functionality to trigger Google Assistant or switch on noise cancelling. The headphones feature up to 20 hours of battery life.
“The QC35 is already the world’s most celebrated wireless headphone, and a survival tool for modern life,” said Brian Maguire, director, Bose on-the-go products. “We didn’t change anything that people already love – with Google Assistant built-in, and new choices for what you hear, we made it better.”
The Bose QC35 II has been priced at Rs 29,363, and is being offered in black and silver hues. The audio accessory will be available via Bose retail stores, the brand’s e-store and authorised Bose retailers across the country.
