Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter production has finally begun at the company’s Rajasthan production facility and deliveries will begin on April 18th. Bounce, the Bengaluru-based startup, launched its first electric scooter, the Bounce Infinity E1, back in December of last year. The e-scooter offers a modest range of around 85km on a single charge and top speed of 65kmph.

The Bounce Infinity E1 which became the company’s first electric scooter also incorporates a new battery swapping technology and also introduces the first of its kind, battery-as-a-service option. Via this scheme, batteries can be availed as a swappable service which brings the cost of ownership down.

Bounce Infinity E1 production starts in Rajasthan plant

Bounce has finally started producing the Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter at its Bhiwadi plant in Rajasthan. The plant has a total production capacity of two lakh units a year. Bounce also plans to expand to its South India plant which would facilitate a production capacity of upwards of five lakh units a year.

The company aims to start delivering the e-scooters to its customers from April 18th.

Bounce Infinity specifications

The Bounce Infinity E1 is powered by a 1.5kW motor (83Nm) paired with a 2kWhr 48V battery pack. This setup is good for 85km of range on a single charge, top speed of 65kmph and 0-40kmph in 8 seconds.

The e-scooter also offers driving modes that include, Drag Mode, Eco Mode and Power Mode. The e-scooter gets 12-inch alloys, a combined braking system with discs at the front and rear, 155mm of ground clearance, LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, and generous under seat storage.
