“The revised BSNL postpaid plan brings free voice calls along with one year of free Amazon Prime membership.”
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has been in the headlines for quite some time now. The state-owned telecom operator has revised the postpaid data packs of Rs 525 and Rs 725 to offer more data benefits to its users.
With the newly revised plan of Rs 525, the company now offers 40GB of data every month, along with unlimited voice calling benefits, with no FUP limit and 100 SMSes every day. Additionally, BSNL is also offering a one year free Amazon Prime membership with the plan.
The Rs 725 postpaid plan offers 50GB of monthly data with unlimited voice calling benefits and free Amazon Prime membership for a year. However, there is no data rollover option in the revised plan as well. Once the users reach the FUP data limit, the speed will be reduced to 40Kbps.
It can be said that the notable change in the BSNL postpaid plan has taken place in order to keep up in the tough competition scenario created by Airtel and Vodafone. However, the benefits provided by the other telecom operator is still ahead of BSNL. As a quick reminder, Vodafone offers 75GB of data with its postpaid plan of Rs 499 a month along with free voice calls, SMS and free Amazon Prime membership. On the other hand, Airtel gives similar benefits along with data rollover facility, Wync TV subscription and more.
