“The new plans are only applicable in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles”
BSNL recently announced its Bumper Offer for the upcoming festive season in India. Under the scheme, the state-owned telecom provider is offering 2.2GB of additional daily data on ten of its prepaid plans. Now, the telco has gone ahead and introduced a couple of new prepaid plans in the country called the Ananth and Ananth Plus. Both these plans are voice-only and apply to subscribers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles.
The Ananth prepaid plan is priced at Rs 105, while the Ananth Plus costs Rs 328. Both these plans have unlimited local, STD and roaming voice call benefits with no FUPs. There are no internet/ SMS or other complimentary benefits included in the recharge plans. The only notable difference between the two is the validity period. While the Ananth prepaid plan offers a validity of 26 days, the Ananth Plus has 90 days.
Lately, many telecom operators, including Airtel and Reliance Jio, have also launched voice-only plans, and now BSNL has jumped the guns.
