“Reliance Jio’s new Rs 525 postpaid plan is currently available in the Kolkata region only”
Many telecom operators like Airtel and Vodafone have been offering data carry-forward facility for their postpaid subscribers for the past year. Now, state-run telco BSNL has finally boarded the bandwagon. However, the data rollover feature has been made available for just one of the postpaid plans the operator offers at the moment.
The Rs 525 BSNL postpaid plan comes with 80GB of data per month. Now, the operator is carrying forward the leftover data of subscribers of the Rs 525 plan to the following billing cycle. Users can rack up to 200GB of data with the data rollover facility, and will not be able to accumulate data beyond that cap. This limit is similar to what the likes of Airtel and Vodafone offer.
Apart from the 80GB bundled data, the Rs 525 plan also provides subscribers with unlimited voice calling to all networks across the country, even to numbers in Mumbai and Delhi circles. Notably, this pack also offers 100 SMSes every day for a month. Along with this, users will get 1-year access to Amazon Prime membership for free.
As reported by Telecom Talk, BSNL is currently offering its latest carry forward Rs 525 postpaid plan to users in the Kolkata telecom circle. After the testing period, the company is expected to offer the new pack to all subscribers across the country.
