Citadel is a new crime-action series that is slated to release tomorrow. It stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas as the leading cast along with actor Richard Madden, who played Robb Stark in the series Game of Thrones. The series has been created by David Weil who is also known for the Prime Video show ‘Hunters’. Marvel movies’ Russo brothers are also executive producers of Citadel.

Citadel release date in India, where to watch on OTT
Citadel releases on April 28th with the first and second episodes from the first season of the show. There will be a total of six episodes with episode 3 releasing on May 5th, episode 4 on May 12th, episode 5 on May 19th, and episode 6 on May 26. Even before the release of the first season, Citadel has been confirmed for another season.
Citadel will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Amazon Prime subscribers in India can watch the series on Prime Video.

As mentioned above, Citadel features Priyanka Chopra Jonas who plays the role of Nadia Sinh, one of the Citadel agents. Playing opposite Priyanka is Richard Madden who plays Mason, another a Citadel agent. Then we have Stanley Tucci who plays Bernard Olick, Lesley Manville as Dahlia Archer, Osy Ikhile as Carter Spence, Ashley Cummings as Abby Conroy, Roland Moller as Anders Silje and Davik Silje, and Caoilinn Springall as Hendrix Conroy.

The trailer for Citadel is out and we’ll attach it below so you can have a better look. It’s an action-packed trailer that pretty much tells us what the base storyline. We have Nadia and Mason who used to be the top spies of Citadel but after getting double-crossed by someone of their own, their memories are wiped. The two spies carry on with their lives but are later contacted by Citadel telling them that a lot people are in search of them.
What to expect
The series follows through the journey of Nadia and Mason who are trying to recollect their memories while fighting the bad guys. In the trailer, we can see Priyanka showing off some remarkable fighting skills in the series. There’s also a lot of confusion that the two spies go through with having doubts over each other and not knowing whom to trust. So you can expect the typical action-packed spy thriller along with possibly some plot twists as well.
