CMF Phone 2 Pro stands out for its design, which is quite different from phones in the same price range. While it isn’t heavily modular like the CMF Phone 1, you still get to use universal back covers and attach accessories like a lanyard and wallet/stand. You can even attach interchangeable lenses on the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

Both phones have identical display specifications from the size, resolution to even the refresh rate. You also get the same punch-hole display on both phones. However, the Realme Narzo 80 Pro offers higher peak brightness than the CMF Phone 2 Pro, which could make some difference outdoors. But you do get Panda Glass protection with the CMF Phone 2 Pro while Realme hasn’t revealed the display protection used on the Narzo 80 Pro.

CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, a midrange chipset launched in June last year. This is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage along with up to 2TB of expandable storage. With the Realme Narzo 80 Pro, you get the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset with up to 26GB dynamic RAM (12GB native + 14GB expandable), and UFS 3.1 storage.
On paper, the Realme Narzo 80 Pro’s chipset offers higher clock speed and dedicated gaming hardware, which could result in better performance especially for heavy tasks and gaming. The phone also has 90FPS support for BGMI, and a vapour chamber cooling system.

The Realme Narzo 80 Pro houses a 50MP primary camera with OIS, 20x digital zoom, AI Night Mode, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The CMF Phone 2 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast wired charging and 5W reverse charging. The Realme Narzo 80 Pro has a bigger 6,000mAh battery and with faster 80W charging and bypass charging as well. Both phones come with the charging adapter inside the box.

CMF Phone 2 Pro runs Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15. Although a custom skin, Nothing OS is known for offering a clean UI with customisations. The company is promising 3 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches with the phone. CMF Phone 2 Pro also gets the Essential Key, which lets you record voice notes, take screenshots, and create personalised recommendations in the AI-powered app, Essential Space.
The Realme Narzo 80 Pro also runs Android 15 with realme UI 6.0 out of the box. It offers several AI features for gaming, photography, and productivity. Some of these include AI Image Enhancement, AI Recording Summary, and AI Smart Loop 2.0. The phone will get two Android upgrades and three years of security updates.
