Dell’s Alienware m15 is its slimmest 15-inch Alienware gaming laptop to date

Dell has introduced its latest Alienware gaming laptop called the Alienware m15. The new notebook has arrived as the company’s slimmest 15-inch Alienware to date. Even while packing a bigger 15.6-inch screen, the Alienware m15 is 14 percent slimmer than the Alienware 13. Notably, the new Alienware weighs in at 4.8 pounds, which makes it 20 percent lighter than the Alienware 13 that tips the scale at 5.8 pounds.

According to Dell, the Alienware m15 flaunts its Cryo-tech 2.0 cooling technology, which keeps the slim-and-lightweight laptop from overheating. The design gets two intake fans and two exhaust vents, and shared heat pipes and slim copper fin stakes. The brand claims that despite having a thin profile, the Alienware m15’s optional 90Whr battery is capable of lasting up to 17 hours while in idle mode.

Moving onto the other specs, the Dell Alienware m15 sports a 15.6-inch 4K IPS display that has a refresh rate of 60Hz. The gaming laptop is powered by an up to Intel Core i7-8750H processor, aided by up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. To deliver an immersive gaming experience, the laptop is equipped with up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q 8GB GDDR5 graphics. For storage, you have options of up to 1TB of M.2 SSD and 1TB hybrid drive.

Alienware m15 design

Talking about the other features, the Dell Alienware m15 sports three USB Type-A ports, which offer a transfer speed of 5Gbps. The notebook gets an HDMI 2.0 port, a miniDisplay Port 1.3, a Noble lock port, a Thunderbolt 3 port, Gigabit Ethernet, and Alienware’s Amplifier port. There are 60Wh, 80Wh, and 90Wh battery variants of the notebook are on offer.

As for the pricing, the Dell Alienware m15 will be available at the starting price of $1,299 (~Rs 88,400). The laptop will go on sale starting October 25th in Nebula Red and Epic Silver colour variants.
