Last week, Dell launched the new Latitude 12 and Latitude 13 notebooks along with the refreshed Latitude 3000, 5000 and 7000 laptops in India. Now the company has launched two new XPS devices in the country – the XPS 12 and XPS 13. The former is a 2-in-1, while the latter is being touted as the world’s smallest 13-inch ultrabook.
The Dell XPS 12 2-in-1 comes with a magnetically attachable keyboard that lets it be used as a full-fledged Windows laptop. The device offers up to a 4K Ultra HD 12.5-inch display option, and sports edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with up to a 6th-gen Intel Core m7 processor, 8GB of RAM, up to 512GB of solid state drive storage, Intel HD Graphics 515, 8MP/5MP cameras with dual array digital microphones, and a 30WHr battery. It also comes with optional stylus pen support.
The Dell XPS 13 ultrabook sports a 13.3-inch InfinityEdge display with up to QHD+ (3,200 x 1,800p) resolution. It offers up to 6th-gen Intel Core i7 processors, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of PCIe solid state drive storage, up to Intel Iris Graphics 540, and delivers up to 18 hours of battery life with a full HD display.
The new Dell XPS notebooks run Windows 10 out-of-the-box, and come with Cortana and Continuum software features. The Dell XPS 12 convertible will be available at a starting price of Rs 1,24,990, while the XPS 13 ultrabook starts at Rs 76,990. Dell is also offering several additional accessories for the new notebooks like the Dell Thunderbolt Dock TB15, Dock WD15 and Power Companion.
